The Jefferson St. Farmers Market is in the 200 - 500 blocks on Thursday from 4:30 to 7:30 PM with fresh produce, baked goods, food vendors, crafts, music by April Foster, and more. The Jefferson St. Farmers Market is organized by Downtown Partners, Inc. and supported by  Two Rivers Bank & Trust.
Catch the excitement of the 35th annual Snake Alley Criterium on Memorial Day weekend! The fun begins on Friday afternoon, May 26 with the Burlington Road Races. The Criterium races begin at 8:30 Saturday morning in downtown Burlington, with the final Category 1/2/Pro race at 3:40 PM. Hundreds of athletes from around the country will compete for thousands of dollars in prizes. The popular kids' races and Cobblestone Climb take place at noon. Visit our downtown shops and food vendors, too. The Snake Alley Criterium is called "one of the most physically challenging races in the Midwest" by the Iowa Bicycle Racing Association.  For more information, visit snakealleycriterium.com.
Two Rivers Bank & Trust, along with Burlington Steamboat Days invite you and your family to the only Friday Fest of 2017! Eric Pettit Lion and Spazm will take the stage, along with a live remote with The Mix 107.3! Adult beverages will be available from both Fleck Sales and Golden Eagle Distributing. Grub Traveller and Hy-Vee #1 will have their food trucks on hand, too. Fireball Run is accepting applications from those interested in volunteering on the production while filming in Greater Burlington or joining as a member of the primary crew. The Amazon streaming series is looking for PAs, Camera Operators, Still Photographers, and ENG Camera Operators. Filming for the series will take place September 21 - 30, 2017. What:  Does your business hire interns during summer break? We want their stay in the Greater Burlington area to be a positive, welcoming experience that will encourage them to return to the area to start their careers, as well as share with their classmates what an amazing place Greater Burlington is. We encourage all to sign up for the Intern Program. They will have the opportunity to participate in numerous Lunch and Learns, business tours and socials. The program is free to Chamber of Commerce members and their interns.
