Life of a File - Part 2 Preparing, Submission, & Hand-Holding
Knowledge Workshop Series
Wednesday, May 24, 2017

In Life of a File Part 1 – we met Jimmy. He was assessed and now has finally retained you for a study permit. This workshop will focus on preparing a file, reviewing the documentation and working with your client to get ready. Included will be the submission, as Jimmy provides new facts you to deal with.  You’ll consider whether to submit online or through a VAC and look at options. Once submitted we’ll look at strategic ways to “support” Jimmy through the waiting stage. He’s very nervous and driving you crazy. Tips, techniques, and style from two seasoned practitioners.
