On Friday, June 2nd, Governor Scott will sign S.10 at a bill signing ceremony in Bennington.

S.10 authorizes the Agency of Natural Resources to issue an order requiring any person who released PFOA to extend a municipal water line to all wells impacted by PFOA. S. 10 supplements the Agency's existing authority and simplifies the process for ensuring responsible parties pay for costs to connect impacted homes to municipal water lines.

The ceremony will take place from 12:00-1:00 at The Publyk House, Historic Route 7A, 782 Harwood Hill, Bennington, VT 05201.
