Fine-n-Dandy maple products is a family business that started with me and my boys constructing a log cabin sugarhouse in 1986. The sugar bush has 1,000 taps which produces in the neighborhood of 300 gallons of maple syrup.
We are modern but traditional at the same time. We use a vacuum and tubing system to bring the sap from the trees to the storage tanks at the sugarhouse. The water is removed from the sap in the traditional way by the process of boiling the sap.
The canned syrup, maple cream, maple sugar (candy), and maple coated walnuts are sold in local stores, the sugarhouse, our roadside stand, and Eisenhower Lock gift store.
I host open houses during NYS Maple Weekend a state-wide event and encourage visitors at all times. The products are available all year.

Portrait photography is one part of my business. I love to photograph kids, animals, families, and high school seniors as well as parties and events. The other part is a love of nature and landscape photography. I can decorate your home or office with YOUR interest in photos such as flowers, birds, sunsets, water scenes, etc. I also do framing and reconstruction of old photos. Local scenes are captured for displays in gift shops and art galleries in the area.

Part of being a good neighbor is contributing to the economy of our local communities. And we love helping more than 42,000 established businesses with sound financial advice. But we have a soft spot for new dreams, too—which is why we’ve also helped entrepreneurs with more than $43 million in small business loans in 2016.
