. Come enjoy a delicious BBQ Chicken meal at St. George's Episcopal Church on the corner of Darby Rd. and Ardmore Ave., Ardmore this Saturday, May 20 starting at 11 a.m. until we run out of chicken! All proceeds go to IMPACT Services, which provides supportive housing for homeless veterans. For $12 you'll get half a chicken, potato salad, roll, brownie and a drink. Stations of the Resurrection
at Church of the Redeemer, Springfield. Join us on Sunday, May 28 at 4 p.m. for a service celebrating our Lord's Resurrection. As with the Stations of the Cross, we move from station to station, reading an appropriate Bible passage and meditating on it. By using the resurrection appearances as a focus for reflection and meditation we have an opportunity to appreciate and celebrate the Easter mysteries of the resurrection of our Lord. The 3 Jewels of Yoga
at St. Luke's (1946 Welsh Road, Philadelphia, PA) will resume on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. - outdoors, weather permitting, with yoga therapist Ram Phuyal. Just $10 per class, tailored for beginners. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat. Please do not eat for 4 hrs. prior to the beginning of the class. The Parish Administrator serves as first contact to those inside and outside the parish and is the administrative assistant, receptionist, publisher of social and print media including worship bulletins and weekly E-newsletter, parish website and Facebook page. This position also entails scheduling parish events and building rentals, retrieving and sorting mail each day, completing payment vouchers to bills, submitting checks for signature, and filing paperwork for bills in accounting files. Strong computer and organization skills including the use of electronic and social media. Familiarity with the Episcopal Church preferred. This position is expected to average 28 hours per week. Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday - Thursday. This position is eligible for Episcopal Church pension benefits. It is not eligible for health care benefits. is seeking a creative and energetic individual to coordinate and oversee our children's and youth programs. In this twenty hour/week paid position, the Director of Children's and Youth Ministries will work with a group of volunteers, the Rector, and other parish staff to engage, equip, and empower our young people to deepen their relationship with God, inspiring them to live their lives in service of others. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children and youth, engaging our young people and their parents in ministry within and outside of the parish. . Every Monday the Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral Food Pantry distributes nourishing food to 150 households.
