If you are interested in joining the Stewardship/Giving team here at St. Bart's let him know! We are looking for people who like to plan and host parties. It's a fun, rewarding ministry! Contact the Rev. Chris Harris, 858-487-2159.
Children's and Youth Formation is Growing
With the end of the school year and our program year coming to an end, it's a natural time to reflect on our accomplishments and discern where we are going with Children and Youth Formation. This week, Mtr. Mary Lynn announced several transitions in staffing Sunday School and Youth CREW families. Beginning this summer, John Prust will be able to focus on ministry with our middle- and high-schoolers. He will also partner with Deacon Bill for the Wednesday morning Bible study, given his great passion and gifts for adult formation. With this transition, St. Bart's will enter a search process for a permanent Children's Minister (formally "Sunday School Director"), who will be the director of programming for children ages 0 - 10 and their families. This year has given us all a chance to explore our specific call to ministry in this place. Read the entire announcement here.
