People I Don't Need to Listen to
The New York Times has too many pages. I download more podcasts than I can play.  I cannot read half of what my friends post on  Facebook-particularly one recipe-happy friend. I cannot hear, read, or notice a significant portion of what is calling for my attention...

Sixth Sunday of Easter
Plymouth is an amazing church learning to tell those who are not sure about the church that there is a place for them here.  This church is becoming the family of God to the degree that we its members are making the transition from the "church in which I feel comfortable" to "the church to which I give myself."  We become the church God intends as each person's heart opens to others, as God moves us from selfishness to love, from death to resurrection, from religious institution to Christ's church.
