Help for Homebuyers

First-time home buyers will get some relief from soaring home prices through a new down payment assistance program called "First Down" recently announced by R.I. Housing. The program offers a $7,500 grant for Rhode Islanders purchasing their first home in Providence, Pawtucket, Woonsocket, Warwick, Cranston and East Providence.
R.I. Housing Executive Director Barbara Fields discussed the details of the program and explained who is eligible recently on WPRI Channel 12's "Rhode Show".

Jon and Ann Wish were so inspired by the care their mother received that they decided to cycle cross country in an effort to raise money for HopeHealth and raise awareness of hospice care. They depart June 3 and are looking forward to the adventure of a lifetime as a tribute to their mom's life.
