Calendar & Exam Schedule for 2018-2019!
Thank you to all who completed the exam options survey, attended stakeholder meetings, or submitted questions. After considering all of the feedback, we are recommending Calendar B1 as the option for the 2018-19 school year.

The highlights of this calendar include:

Traditional Start Date, Exams before Winter Break
  • School begins August 22, 2018
  • Exams are before Winter Break
  • Semester exams are spread over 4 days, rather than 3 days
  • 2nd semester begins January 22, 2019
  • There are approximately two weeks left of the course, after exams take place
   -Teachers can review exams, teach new material and assess (i.e. uni test)
    students prior to the end of the semester
   -This schedule still provides balance for semester-long classes
  • 2 embedded emergency days
  • School ends June 6, 2019
  • Semesters unbalanced by 2 days

Please remember, this calendar will not be implemented until 2018-19 to give various groups ample time to prepare for potential shifts in scheduling. We will also ask for feedback following the first year of implementation. Thanks again to all who participated in this process.
