Announcing Vacation Bible Study...for adults! (Childcare provided.)
This summer, while  most of the weekly study and prayer groups are on hiatus, we're trying something new! For 4 Thursdays (June 15, 22, 29 and July  6), we'll gather in the McClain Room from 9:30-11:00 for bible study. Our theme? Sabbath-keeping: what does (and doesn't) Sabbath mean? What does scripture say about it? How do we honor God in it, and how does God honor us?

All are welcome. Come when you can. No advance preparation required. The church nursery will be open and staffed starting at 9AM....parents of little ones need bible
study too! Questions? Email Nadia.
Opportunities to Serve
2nd Annual Grace House Gardening Day!
Tuesday, June 6 - 9:30AM - Noon
Donate and Join us
Last year the residents of Grace House and Christ Church parishioners worked side by side to create a wonderful garden.  We enjoyed a lovely community breakfast served on the porch, then we rolled up our sleeves and got to work planting herbs, vegetables and flowers. The residents enjoyed the bounty from the garden all season and the women are very excited to do it again. Residents tend the garden - weeding, watering and harvesting during the summer.

They have given us a "wish list" of some new items they would like to plant this year - cabbage, onions and greens. We need: donations of plants, donations of money to purchase plants and volunteers (men, women and students) to help do the planting.  We plan on carpooling from the Maple Street parking lot @ 8:30AM down to Grace House. Please join us!  Contact Carmen Wilcox for further information.                          [email protected]

Car Question
Often when we connect with nature, we feel closer to God. So, how do you feel in and on the water? Does it refresh you to swim? Calm you to paddle board? Exhilarate you to sail? Where is God in all of this? Or, does water make you nervous? And where is God in all of that?
