The National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame will announce the names on the 2018 ballot for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame on Thursday (June 1).

The 2018 ballot will include 75 players and six coaches from the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision and 98 players and 31 coaches from the NCAA divisional and NAIA ranks.

On June 1, the National Football Foundation will formally present Clemson University and head coach Dabo Swinney with the NFF MacArthur Bowl, the organization's national championship trophy for the NCAA Division I - Football Bowl Subdivision, during a ceremony at the College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience in Atlanta.

The ceremony will mark the official unveiling of the trophy with Clemson's name permanently etched on the fabled archways of the historic trophy, joining the previous 59 teams who have been recognized since the coveted honor was first bestowed in 1959. Members of the public with general admission tickets to the Hall may attend the event, which may be purchased in advance by visiting cfbhall.com or on the day of the event at the Hall of Fame Box Office.

NFF Board Member, 2013 NFF Leadership Hall of Fame inductee and Dallas Cowboys owner, president and general manager Jerry Jones  will accept Arkansas's Distinguished Citizen Award at the 40th annual Community Service Awards at the Governor's Mansion June 2.

NFF Board Member and Under Armour CEO & founder Kevin Plank has been inducted into the Sporting Goods Industry Hall of Fame.

The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) announced that NFF Board Member and NACDA Executive Director  Bob Vecchione  will be inducted into the Association's Hall of Fame at the 2017 NACMA Convention June 12-15 at the World Center Marriott Resort in Orlando, Fla.

ESPN has re-signed College Football Hall of Famer Desmond Howard (Michigan) to continue his role on College GameDay.

College Football Hall of Famer Pat Richter is the first honoree named to Wisconsin's Camp Randall 100, an exclusive list celebrating 100 people who have shaped Camp Randall Stadium's history over the last 100 years.

College Football Hall of Famer Joe Greene (North Texas) and the Greene Family Foundation will host Nibble and Mingle, a fundraising event benefiting the Agnes Lucille Craft Greene Scholarship fund, at the Highland Hotel in Dallas on June 9.

The $1 Million Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity was awarded to 2014 NFF Gold Medal recipient Dr. Tom Catena, a Catholic missionary from Amsterdam, N.Y., who has saved thousands of lives as the sole doctor permanently based in Sudan's war-ravaged Nuba Mountains.

UCLA has received $1 million for student-athlete scholarships in honor of 1997 NFF Gold Medal recipient Jackie Robinson. The "Jackie R. Robinson Centennial Scholars Endowed Scholarships" will support student-athlete scholarships in the four sports in which Robinson participated at UCLA: football, baseball, men's track & field and men's basketball.

TCU has announced that the press box in Amon G. Carter Stadium will be named in honor of legendary sports writer and 2009 NFF Outstanding Contribution to Amateur Football Award recipient Dan Jenkins.

Timothy Cardinal Dolan, the archbishop of New York who gave the invocation at the NFF Annual Awards Dinner, was the speaker at the 2017 University of St. Thomas (Texas) Commencement May 20 in Houston.

NFF-partner Delta Air Lines was honored for the role it plays fostering global diversity and its commitment to the communities it serves worldwide when CEO Ed Bastian accepted the Corporate Responsibility Award from the Foreign Policy Association.

Athens Banner-Herald columnist and author Loran Smith, a 1994 NFF Chapter Leadership Award recipient from the University of Georgia Chapter, was recently awarded the Dean's Medal, the highest honor given at the University of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.

The NFF Joe Tiller/Northwest Indiana Chapter will hold its scholar-athlete banquet June 11 at  Purdue Memorial Union at West Lafayette, Ind.

The NFF Oklahoma Chapter will host the 33rd Annual All Sports and Scholar-Athlete Awards Luncheon June 13 at the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame and Jim Thorpe Museum in Oklahoma City. 

The NFF Tom Lombardo/St. Louis Chapter will hold its M&M Golf Tournament July 12 at Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis, Mo.
