Free Webinar on Global Adjustment (GA) Charge

ClimateWise Business Network, in partnership with the IESO and Energy@Work, is hosting a workshop on Global Adjustment (GA) to address the charge on your electricity bill. 

Recent regulatory changes allow commercial consumers to choose how GA is charged, allowing them to be billed based on their consumption during the top five peak demand hours. 

Every commercial electricity customer in Ontario must decide whether they are Class A or B by June 15th.

Attend this online workshop at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 18th to gain a better understanding of GA and what steps you should take before the June 15th deadline.

Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) — Grow Grant Applications

This spring, the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) is hosting in-person workshops and webinars for nonprofits interested in applying for grants under our popular Grow Investment Stream.

Grow grant deadline: June 28, 2017

Plan to attend a session so your organization will be ready to submit a good quality grant application ahead of the deadline.

These full-day workshops, led by experienced OTF staff, will take community organizations through a Grow grant application step-by-step. The webinars are geared to organizations that are not able to attend a local event, but still want to get the information they need to submit a solid Grow grant application.

Grow grants are designed for community projects that will:
  • Launch, replicate, or adapt an already proven, evidence-based program
  • Increase in scale to impact more people
  • Improve and increase the positive impact in the community
