Danny Marvin Stricklin 1948 - 2017
Danny Marvin Stricklin.  Dan Stricklin transitioned from this life to the next April 13, 2017, at Bay Pines VA Hospital hospice, St. Petersburg, Florida, after a lengthy period of declining health.

Dan was born Sept. 9, 1948 in West Virginia to Robert and Mary Alice Stricklin (both deceased).

In his youth, he resided in several cities prior to arriving in Wadsworth to eventually become a proud graduating member of the class of WHS '66.   While there, he made many life long friends, including, but not limited to, Big Den, Freddie, Mouse, Gerb (deceased), Woody and Biggy Huff. Dan made friends easily wherever he went, and never had an enemy.

Shortly after graduation, he joined the US Army, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam as a helicopter door gunner and received several citations and medals.
He eventually moved to Florida, where he started and operated his own business, Cobra Plastics, until his retirement in 2007.

Dan was predeceased by his parents;  brother, Robert, and sister, Mary.   He is survived by his sister, Linda Scalet, (Michigan), JoAnne Bielenin (Florida) and ex-wife, Diane Hohn (Ohio), and many beloved relatives and friends.

Until we meet again, my love, may God wrap His arms around you and grant you eternal peace.

Cremation has already taken place. A private memorial service took place in Florida on Memorial Day weekend.
