For the third time, Hawthorne Councilmember and South Bay Cities Council of Governments (SBCCOG) Board Member Olivia Valentine recently joined SBCCOG staff to meet with businesses to promote the Green Building Challenge (GBC) and share information about how we can help businesses save energy, water, and money.  Her most recent outreach efforts led to Los Angeles Ale Works, Hawthorne Arts Complex, and The Lab joining the GBC.

These businesses are bringing economic vitality to the City of Hawthorne and we are excited to welcome them to the program.  We thank Councilmember Valentine for her commitment to promoting the GBC and helping businesses in Hawthorne.
