June 28th Educational Luncheon & Program
Building a Major Gifts Shop from the Ground Up (After 97 Years of Service!)

This presentation will guide attendees through the Momentous Institute's establishment of an externally-facing development effort after 93 years of existing as an internally-facing organization.  Now, five years into the campaign, the development effort has raised more than 16 million in pledges and gifts. Critical elements for success were to focus first on building relationships, elevating the research conducted by the agency to clearly demonstrate efficacy of programming, and emphasizing the collective impact of partnerships that lead to sustainable change and a healthy community.
Jessica Trudeau

Jessica Slie Trudeau, MPH, is the Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships of the Momentous Institute. She has worked in the field of public health including unintentional injury, HIV/AIDS and child abuse prevention for over 17 years, including service as the Executive Director of Family Compass. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Microbiology and Tulane University with a Master's in Public Health.

Tania Loenneker
Tania Loenneker is the Associate Director of Development at the Momentous Institute. She came to the Institute in 2013 to advance its mission and vision of developing social emotional health in children.
