Here Comes Summer
Your Summer Event Guide in Brampton
CeleBrampton is a day when residents and visitors are invited down to the urban centre to celebrate our young, growing and diverse city. This year, CeleBrampton is highlighting our city's uniqueness and role  as an emerging urban destination, all of which builds civic pride and fosters a sense of belonging.

It also serves as the kick off to many fun and exciting summer events:
  • The Downtown Brampton Farmers' Market - Saturdays, from June 17 until October 7
  • The Mount Pleasant Village Market - Thursdays, from June 22 until October 5
  • Garden Square Summer Season - Everyday of the week, from June 12 until September 4
These and many other events can be found on our online calendar

Don't forget to take part in the national celebration of Canada's 150th birthday, by joining us as Brampton celebrates Canada 150 on July 1. The event begins at 12 pm and will showcase the City of Brampton's extensive diversity, wide range of local talent, and some truly "Canadiana" attractions and activities that have become part of our national identity. Unveiled at this year's event in Chinguacousy Park will be a selection of locally crafted Muskoka Chairs themed around Strong, Proud and Free.

Be sure to also check out Canada 150 festivities happening all year across the city.

Respect the Space
One in seven people in Ontario have a disability, but not all disabilities are visible. As you move around Brampton for work, lesiure or play, be mindful of accessible parking spaces. Only valid Accessible Parking Permit holders can use these spaces. Do not block the access aisles (the yellow striped area beside the space) as they provide additional space for getting in and out of vehicles. [more...]
Take the Pledge
Small eco-friendly actions are easy to follow and help create a healthier future. That's why we've launched the Grow Green Eco Pledge. Simply choose an action that you can commit to from now until the end of September, like carpooling to work or using a refillable water bottle, then challenge your friends, family, classmates and coworkers. Let's make a difference together! [more...]
