WMS Jazz Band Earns a Silver Rating at MAJE JD Jazz Festival!
|
|
On Thursday, May 11th, the WMS Jazz Band earned a silver rating at the Massachusetts Association of Jazz Educators' Junior District Jazz Festival! Bands are rated against a
rubric,
not each other, and we earned enough points to be solidly in the silver category! The band was very proud of their performance. After a strong performance, students learned how to take it to the next level in a clinic with one of the adjudicators, and then ended off the night listening to other area middle school bands and cheering them on.
Below are the members of this year's Jazz Band!
Congratulations!
