Growing Generosity Team Travels  Please Pray for MDRC's "Growing Generosity" team: Brenton Brown, Steve Sikkink, Angie Owen, Judi Vogel, Don Doudna, Scott Dykstra, Chad Quist and Pastor Suzanne Vogel. They are in Dallas Tuesday  through Thursday, learning with leaders from the RCA and the Leadership Network.

After Pastor Suzanne returns from the Growing Generosity meetings she will be out of the office on vacation until May 30.

Sunday Morning Kids Connection Our last day of programming will be this Sunday, May 21. Beginning Sunday, June 4, we will be offering nursery and Summer Kids Connection classes for preschoolers who are currently in one of our Kids Connection classes, pre-kindergarten, and upcoming fall kindergarten children.  Upcoming Fall 1st-6th graders will remain in worship with their families throughout the summer.

Worship Bag Contents Needed for Kids   Kids Ministry is creating more worship bags for our Preschool-3rd grade elementary students to enjoy during inter-generational worship services throughout the summer months! We are looking for gently used or new books, Beanie Babies, matchbox cars, small puzzles or other quiet play items to stock the new bags!  Drop off items at the Welcome Center or in Pastor Bep's office.

Mission to Honduras We have a mission team going to Honduras September 22-29. Each year a group of doctors and nurses deliver babies, while the non-medical members go through the 1800 bed hospital and mountain villages praying with people, delivering food, Bibles, onesies and blankets. If interested, please contact Monica Simpson.

Onesies On A Mission When the mission team goes to Honduras, they will bring a supply of onsies and receiving blankets with them for distribution. We are asking for donations of new or gently used items. They may be dropped off at the display in the lobby of either campus by May 28.

Thank you from Freedom Freedom For Youth " We want to thank your group for providing meals to our students at the Des Moines FFY center this past year. Nutritious meals are a big part of our ministry and we could not do this without great people like you. Thank you and God bless!"

Confirmation Informational Meeting    Wednesday, May 24, 6:30-
8 PM in the Bridge Student Ministry Triangle. This is for all current
6-7th grade students and their parents. We'll give you a glimpse
into what exactly the 7th grade Foundations class and the 8th
grade Confirmation classes are all about. Students and parents
are highly encouraged to attend and register for their respective
classes in the Fall.

Kids Ministry Summer Forecast: 100% Chance of the Son!
Registrations are open for all activities! So much to choose from: VBS, Movie Night, Servants of the Day and Night, Science Center Night, Drama Camp and more!    Check it all out.

VBS Volunteers Needed  Are you thinking about volunteering for June 26-30 morning VBS? Did you know we have a nursery for infant-3 year old children? The nursery is open to children whose parent or guardian is serving throughout the morning. We offer a modified VBS schedule with songs, bible lessons, and activities for the older nursery age children to participate in the fun of VBS at an age appropriate level too!  If childcare was holding you back, please consider volunteering!

There will be a VBS volunteer training on Tuesday, May 23, 6:30 PM, at The Bridge, for all volunteers working the June 26-30 morning VBS.

VBS Supply Needs   Save your paper towel rolls and throw them in the box by the Welcome Center for our VBS craft needs!

Did you forget what time that class or meeting begins? Or where it meets?   Check the website activity calendar for details.
