Vacation Bible School

All children ages four (by July 2017) throu gh rising 5th graders are invited to join us for Vacation Bible School, Monday, July 17 - Thursday, July 20, from 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. F ollowing the theme

" Digging for Treasure: Parables Revealed, " our Bible lessons will explore the treasures in the Kingdom of God and how much God loves us. Paper registration forms are now available in the narthex and church office or you can register online! Registration is due by July 12th.

Vacation Bible School cannot happen without good and faithful volunteers! We need your help for this important children's ministry! Volunteers can register online, or you can fill out a paper registration form and return it to the church office. Please note: volunteers 18 and older should have completed the screening for the Child and Youth Protection Policy before VBS begins.

Presbyterian Women's Honorary Life Membership Recipient

Gina Goff was honored as the recipient of an Honoray Life Membership at the Presbyterian Women's Birthday Offering Luncheon on Sunday, May 7th.

Girl Scout Troop 334

Members of Girl Scout Troop 334 used a portion of their cookie proceeds to support the Backpack program. The girls carefully shopped for items on the backpack grocery list at Aldi's. The troop passes along a "Thank you" to all who supported their cookie sales this year - you helped to provide over $150 worth of groceries for the Backpack program.

Helping Children in our Schools

The adopted school of our diaconate, WR Irvin Elementary, is in need of proctors for annual End of Grade testing. Testing dates occur between May 26 and June 2, and the times are 7:15 a.m. until noon each testing day. The first 15 minutes of the day will be proctor orientation and training, with testing starting at 7:30. Note that A BACKGROUND CHECK IS NOT NEEDED to help with proctoring.
