Redbud Wrap-UpRedbud
Despite the cooler temperatures, this year's Denton Redbud Festival was a hit! On Saturday, April 22, Denton celebrated Arbor Day at the 24th Annual Denton Redbud Festival with local home and garden vendors, kid-friendly fun, festival foods, local musicians, workshops, free trees, and tons of plants! The Redbud Festival is KDB's largest community event, which makes it one of our favorites each year. It reminds us of how lucky we are to belong to such a wonderful community.

Every year in April, Keep Denton Beautiful gives out hundreds of Redbud seedlings to 3rd grade students all across Denton through our  Children's Arbor Day program.

This year, our talented KDB volunteers and staff gave out 1,249 Redbud Tree seedlings and presented to 1,364 Denton area students. A total of 30 large trees were planted at 13 school campuses later in April.

Pictures and stats from this year's presentations are up on the KDB blog!
