The game will kick off at
7:30pm and will be played at the
Matthews Sportsplex (1505 Tank Town Rd. Matthews 28105).

Honor Council
Applications
Honor Council will be taking applications for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year. The Honor Council is an organization that strives to promote honor and integrity throughout the Myers Park
Community.
To apply please pick up an application from Ms. Zornow's room in LA 208. Applications do require a teacher recommendation. If you have any questions please submit them here.
The deadline has been extended and all applications are due to Ms. Zornow by 2:15pm May 5th.

Our MPHS JROTC received the Gold Cup, a scholarship for Abram Magaldi and three
achievement awards at the CMS JROTC Cadet Achievement Awards Ceremony.

Yearbook Distribution
Yearbook distribution will be on
May 18th
during homeroom in the morning. Yearbooks will be for sale for
$95 CASH
on that day, and Senior Supplements for
$15 cash
. Seniors will have first priority over yearbooks for sale, and then underclassmen will be released to buy. If you are absent on distribution day, you may pick up your yearbook in the conference room in the front office in the days following distribution.

is the time to buy your 2017-18 MPHS season passes. Season passes can be purchased individually or as a family and will admit holders to all MP athletic Home Regular Season events. Remember
- Ultimate Memberships (which include parking for home football games) are limited and will be sold on a first come basis. You can purchase your passes

As you will see, there is also an opportunity to become a Mustang Club Member and/or donate to The Mustang Club.
We would also welcome
all donations to help support the ongoing needs of our student-athletes and the MP athletic facility.

Survey Due TODAY!
Please complete the Senior Post Secondary Plan & Senior Awards survey by Friday, April 28th. This survey can be found on the left hand side of your About Me Tab in Naviance.
Our school needs this information for reports that we are required to file about your class. Additionally, if you want to be recognized in the Senior Awards Program for your attendance, Eagle Scout or Gold Award, we need this information. We have no way of knowing who has earned these prestigious distinctions unless you complete this very, very short survey.
Please complete the Graduation Survey by Friday, April 28th. This survey can also be found on the left hand side of your About Me Tab in Naviance.
If you want to be recognized in the Senior Awards program, you need to enter your scholarships into this survey. Later in June, we will use the information you have inputted to determine where to send your final transcript. You MUST complete this survey in order for us to know where to send your transcript!!!
If you have received any scholarship money, please input this data into Naviance by Friday Apr. 28th. An email with instructions was sent to students through Naviance. If you have any questions, please see your counselor.

AP Exams and Parking
We are excited about the shift of AP testing back on Campus this year at Myers Park. We are fully prepared for this transition. We ask for students to help with managing parking. Please read below:
-All students who are driving on campus should do their best to carpool with other AP students.
-Parents are encouraged to pick up students early or drop off student for afternoon exams from the front circle if possible
-ROTC will be assisting with parking from 7:00am- 8:00am& 12:00pm to 1:00pm.
AM Exams & Parking (AP Check in opens at 7:30am in Media Center)
-If you are assigned a space, arrive at normal school time and park in your assigned space.
- Morning exams may park in the bus lot and any open space after 7:10am
- If a student is not leaving campus after AM exams they must attend class
- If you have 2 exams on the same day or extended time DO NOT park in the bus lot.
- All cars in the bus lot must be moved by 12:30 or they risk being towed
- Do not park in spaces marked R (Teacher Parking)
PM Exams & Parking (AP Check in opens at 12:30pm In the S Building)
- Park in available space as directed by ROTC

- Sign up for AP REMIND for Up to date information on testing using the website above.
- Plan your transportation: AM Exam Check-In from 7:30-7:45am (Media Center) / PM Exam Check-In from 12:15-12:30pm (Social Studies building).
- Plan at Least 4 hours for each exam
. All students must remain until the end of the official timing for the exam or the test score may be voided.
- Check your exam time and your exact room prior to arriving on campus each day.
- Do not hang out around campus before or after exams.
