GSSCC Cuts the Ribbon for the Grand Opening of UP

 Congratulations to owners Dave Giacomin and Erin McNamara, joining Chamber President Jane Redicker, to cut the ribbon for the grand opening of UP - healing, wellness, adventure, a yoga and wellness studio. Assisting was Lisa Joy Glassman, one of the instructors. The studio officially opened last Friday with a celebration reception.

GSSCC Seeks Marketing, Digital Media Specialist to Join Staff

GSSCC is seeking candidates interested in joining the staff as our Marketing Communications & Digital Media Specialist. This team member will be responsible for the Chamber's overall promotion, event marketing, social media, e-newsletter, and website, and will staff the Young Professionals Network steering committee.  The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (communications, journalism, marketing, graphic design), writes well, has an eye for design, and is creative with digital and social media outreach. WSSC to Replace Water Mains on Colesville Beginning this Summer

Beginning sometime this summer, the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) will begin a two-year project to replace water mains under Colesville Road from the Beltway south to Georgia Avenue.
