A season for everything ...
Change is inevitable. Transitions come whether we are ready for them or not. Transition or change is never easy, and can create anxiety. At CBFNC we know this is especially true when it relates to ministerial transitions. Whether you're a part of a congregation saying goodbye to beloved minister or clergy member seeking God's place of service for you, we want to provide assistance in this pivotal stage of your journey. Ministerial transitions require much prayer and patience. CBFNC comes alongside congregations and ministers to aid in this process.

Since the beginning, CBFNC has helped congregations and clergy come together for Christ-centered ministry. As a continuation of our long history with ministerial transitions, we are excited to add Seth Hix to our staff as the new Ministerial Transitions and Church Relations Coordinator. CBFNC has heard from you and we know that ministry connections are one of the most valued services we provide.  Learn more about Seth and his new role.

If you are a minister seeking a place of ministry or if you are a church seeking a new clergy member, let us help. We can guide you through this transition and help you discern God's call. For more information about how we can help you,  visit our website.

Illumination Project - NC Regional Meetings
How can we reflect more light and less heat in our life together as Cooperative Baptists? CBF's Illumination Project brings CBF churches and Cooperative Baptists with their full convictions into a respected and trustworthy place.

Charlie Fuller and Paul Baxley, members of the Illumination Project Steering Committee, will lead sessions in several North Carolina cities in June. Each session will last 90 minutes with the purpose of understanding the goals of the project and having your voice heard.

Charlie, Executive Pastor of First, Washington, D.C. is chair of the committee. Paul is Pastor of First, Athens, GA, and a North Carolina native. They will be accompanied by Larry Hovis, CBFNC Executive Coordinator.
