Join us June 10 from 6-8 p.m. at the Marion Y to swim, enjoy popcorn and play outdoor games: tug of war, relay races and kickball on the lawn. (Games will be in the gym if there is rain.) FREE for Y Members. No child admitted without a parent. Plus, your family can invite another family to the Y for FREE!

Join the YMCA and hundreds of kids at Coe College for the 2017 Hy-Vee KidsFit FREE event 6/17/2017 from 9-11:30 a.m. It will be a morning of fun physical activities. Every participant registered by June 1 receives a goodie bag filled with snacks and prizes. Suggested age range is 7-13. DETAILS

CAMP WAPSIE VOLUNTEERS CONSTRUCT, CLEAN, REPAIR

|
Spring is prep time at Camp Wapsie and crews of volunteers help us make improvements. This spring we built a
new horse shade structure with the help of the Schlegel family, built new seasonal cabins (pictured) and made a
rchery repairs, planted trees, painted, landscaped, worked on trails and much, much more. We had nearly 750 volunteer hours for the united Way Day of Caring alone!

Y MEMBER WINS IOWA STATE GOLDEN GLOVES CHAMPIONSHIP
|
Boxer Antonio Woods, a two-time Golden Gloves Iowa State Champion in both 2014 and 2017, won this year's 178 pound weight class. The win earned him a spot at the National Golden Gloves competition in Louisiana. Congratulations and nice work!
