WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!

Alignment Rockford and Rockford Public Schools hosted the first annual Academy Showcase April 27, 2017 at Prairie Street Brewhouse. The free event welcomed the community to engage with RPS 205 high school students and faculty as they demonstrated their Academy projects and community partnerships. Students from each academy within each school provided live performances, interactive demonstrations, games and more!

The house was packed. The best parts were the students and staff from different schools intermingling and supporting each other in ways I have not seen before, and seeing how many new AST members were signing up to be a part of the RPS community -  Jen Lawrence, Principal at  Guilford High School
