THANK YOU!
We were blessed to have a fantastic turnout for the 4th Annual Ladies Tea & Luncheon on Thursday. Thank you to all of our sponsors, donors and attendees for making our event such a success. And thank you again to Ginia Portz for chairing this year's event on behalf of the Open Door Foundation.
We are humbled by the generosity shown and so thrilled that every penny of money raised
goes directly to the endowment fund that provides scholarships for students and families that otherwise would not be able to afford an O'Hara education.

Please join us THIS FRIDAY for the nationally recognized, award-winning LIVING SAINTS PRESENTATION of O'Hara's Sixth Grade Class. This year's event will take place on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 12:30pm - 2:30pm in O'Hara's gymnasium.
About the Living Saints Presentation:
Each year, over 1,000 people from all over the state visit O'Hara for a self-
guided, inspirational journey of the heroes of faith, at the
Annual Living Saints Presentation.
Every spring, each sixth grade student selects a Saint as the subject of focused study for three months.
They write about the country their Saint lived in, study ancient cartographic techniques and create antique
looking country maps, write reports about their Saint's life, and study the medieval art of illuminated
manuscript and the prayerful art of iconography.
The Living Saints Presentation is an exceptional example of integrated curriculum, where students apply
working knowledge across many subjects to create a significant and meaningful project. This year, technology will be integrated to
help share the students' work and the Saints' stories.
Representing 51 Saints and Blesseds from 5 continents, students in costume will share stories, dramatic
artwork, and offer inspirational examples of faith, hope and charity. Click HERE to visit our Living Saints website.

Coins for Cancer: June 5 - 9!
On June 5th, O'Hara will be kicking off our annual Coins for Cancer drive at the Monday Morning Assembly! The coin drive will run from Monday through Friday of that week. We are asking that each child bring in as many
coins (or dollars) as they can. This drive goes directly to help our local community through the Oregon Cancer Foundation. The Oregon Cancer Foundation is a local not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance to cancer patients in Lane County. Every dollar (and coin!) raised stays right here in our community.
Let's
work together to help those in our community that are battling cancer!
As part of our week-long Coins for Cancer drive, O'Hara students and staff are encouraged to wear a pink top and jeans on Thursday, June 8.
