2018 ICD-O-3 Update

The Guidelines for ICD-O-3 Histology Code and Behavior Update for cases diagnosed 1/1/2018 forward have been released and are now available on the NAACCR website.  The update includes links to tables listing new codes and other changes and is available in two formats: .pdf and Excel. The tables were originally posted on 12/20/17. An updated table was posted 1/10/18. All updates are listed in the 1-10-18 Errata.

The NAACCR ICD-O-3 Implementation Work Group strongly recommends all users read the guidelines which contain valuable information related to the 2018 update.

Further 2018 reporting information will be distributed as it becomes available.

Reminder:  DO NOT transmit 2018 cases until a notification has been sent by the CCR that they are able to receive 2018 cases and your software vendor has upgraded to v18. Please see the CCR Data Alert 2017-017 for further details.
