Kelly's experience includes teaching at independent schools in India and on St. Croix, as well as at Bosse and Signature. Kelly has bee a speech team coach, community service advisor, newspaper and yearbook advisor, ESL coordinator, and admissions counselor. We are very happy to welcome the Kanetkars to the Day School community.

We are excited to bring Denise's experience as a professor, homeschool co-op teacher, WNIN Ready to Learn Coordinator, family nutrition educator, and AmeriCorpos volunteer. Denise's passion for food science will provide interesting opportunities for our students and she is looking forward to coaching the Academic Bowl team.

Finally,  Jose Mota has informed us he will be moving on from Day School after this school year. Jose is a strong teacher and will be missed. We have already initiated a search for the Upper School Social Studies position and have already started interviewing applicants from a very strong and large pool of candidates.

This Week in Pictures
Eighth graders concluded their Shakespeare unit with a Shakespearean Feast. Each student researched an cooked recipes from the Renaissance. Then they dressed in period costumes and enjoyed a feast!

Musicians in Grades 4 - 12 showcased their vocal and instrumental talents on the evening of May 9 at University of Evansville's Shanklin Theatre. Their year-long hard work and resilience was on display, and the students did an excellent job of performing! Special thanks to our music faculty, Amber Ferguson & Steve Greenwell, for their work with Day School's musicians.
