Using general ledger or GL codes in Wintixgl

Do you use the GL codes in Wintix to aid you in your accounting and reporting?

Many of our clients have accounting departments. For every event that is presented at a college or university, high school, or performing art center, funds that are received have to be accounted for. For each department, whether it be the dance, theatre, or athletic department, it is very important that each department can prove how much money was received from ticket sales. This way they can justify requests for funding for future seasons.

With Wintix, you can assign numerals or actual department names to each of your events. By designating codes to different types of events, you can quickly sort and prepare simple accounting reports for reconciliation and budgeting purposes. In addition, you may use this report to determine promoter payments. Want to learn more about how to set up GL codes and run GL reports? Learn more here.
How to do a partial exchangeexchange

Sometimes life interferes with plans - and theatre outings.

So what happens when someone buys a lot of tickets but some members of their party need to change their tickets to another date and time?

Wintix makes it easy to do a partial exchange so your sales records will still balance.

Here are the instructions for how to do this.

How do you view all the pages in a report?pages

If you run a report to a PDF, it's easy to progress through a report to view each page.

The report will run a bit faster if you run it to the screen, but it may or may not be immediately evident how to page through it.

Don't think you won't be a target if you're a small business or that your personal computers and devices are safe.

Once again, computer security expert Bruce Schneier has some words of wisdom on what to do to help protect youself from this newest cyber threat that could cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars.
Got windows 10? Got issues or errors with printing tickets?windows

We've had a few phone calls lately from some of our clients who have Windows 10 and were getting "Unhandled Structured Exception" errors while trying to print tickets.

If this happens to you, we have a couple of posts on our Help Desk that addresses what to do.
"My date with a Wintix update" by Luva Bouy update

"I'll love you forever, my sweetheart," Brad uttered.

"Oh Brad," Thelma gasped. "I've never felt anything as magical as this!"

"My dear, dear girl. There is only one thing in the world that can create such magic," Brad cooed in Thelma's ear.

"Yes, it's true, my love!" Thelma whispered as Brad pulled her close.

Thelma gazed up at Brad as his eyes gazed into the pooled depths of her own.

"There is nothing that can compare to the passion we feel when we update our Wintix each month," Thelma sighed.

"No wonder I love you so much," Brad huskily exclaimed as he leaned in to kiss her gently.
