June 2: First Friday in Swarthmore!
First Friday is June 2nd! Just for the kiddos, this month we're excited to screen an outdoor movie in the Central Park Amphitheater.

This month we're screening a "kids-choice" movie in the outdoor amphitheater (weather permitting).

Swarthmore Campus and Community Store is holding Art Friday. Kids are invited to create chalk art on the sidewalk with window designer Sydney. Prismacolor fine line marker sets are on sale. Enter their raffle for a complete watercolor art set!
Kandy Kids

Kandy Kids will host a Melissa & Doug Toy Testing Day. There will be 4 testing stations and each child will grade the toy and receive a certificate and a prize to take home. This is a free activity which will be fun and educational for the children.

The 21st
annual exhibit of Swarthmore area artists, presented by the Swarthmore Friends of the Arts, will be on display through June 26th at Swarthmore Borough Hall.
Featuring artists from Swarthmore, Rutledge, and Wallingford, th
e show reflects a wide variety of perspectives, media and subject matter presented by a diverse local group of artists, which includes both amateurs and professionals.

FREE Workshop: Marketing Plans
The Widener University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides one-on-one consulting services and a series of educational programs and seminars to new and existing businesses in southeastern Pennsylvania.
On
June 7, 2017 from 9-11 AM, the SBDC will help small business owners
understand their market and implement an appropriate strategy to make the most of that market. This course will guide entrepreneurs to the right questions to ask about their market, provide tools to find the most valuable answers to those questions, and how to go forward in constructing a formal plan.
