Pastor Meghan's Ordination Service
On Friday, April 21, 2017, a group of Our Saviour members traveled to Advent Lutheran Church in Charlotte for the Ordination Service for Pastor Meghan Richter.
The service was a beautiful event with Pastor Meghan including a number of her friends and family in the ceremony. Pastor Meghan chose the gospel of John 15: 1-17, I am the Vine and my Father is the Vinegrower. Travis Alfrey, being a Charge, read a Bible verse in the program. Bishop Tim Smith presided over the service and gave a heartwarming sermon inter-mixing the Lion King's circle of life theme.

Please see the note below from Taylor McGuire about an Eagle Scout Project to create a memorial that will honor Veterans in the OSLC Courtyard:
My name is Taylor McGuire I am doing my eagle project to benefit all the veterans we have in our church. I am selling bricks to put the family names who have served our wonderful country the memorial for the veterans will be in the courtyard.
The bricks are only $50 dollars a piece to cover the cost of each brick engraving and the tools I will need to lay the bricks as well as the shipping of the bricks. I will need your name and phone number along with what you would like your brick to say.

Please feel free to ask questions along the way. I will be in the narthex selling the bricks with a sample brick to show you what they will look like. There is also an opportunity to help lay the bricks (a property work day is scheduled for May 20 from 8 -12 pm), and if you would like to help please leave your name and phone number at the display table and I will certainly send you details of the project work days.
Thank you so much church family!
