Our Words Matter!
"Each May,  Better Hearing  &  Speech Month  (BHSM) provides an opportunity to raise awareness about communication disorders and the role of the  American Speech-Language-Hearing Association   members in providing life-altering treatment."   www.asha.org/bhsm/

May is Better Speech and Hearing Month. The Baraboo School District has six full time Speech and Language Pathologists (SLPs) that work with children ages 3-21 in the areas of articulation, language, voice and fluency that qualify for speech and language therapy services through the criteria set by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. A few of the SLPs purchased T-shirts that read "Your Words Matter!" that they will wear over the next month to raise awareness for their work throughout the district and support this year's theme by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association: "Communication: The Key to Connection."

Please take a moment to thank our Speech and Language Pathologists during the month of May! We are #Barabooproud to have such an amazing team in the Baraboo School District.
