Hot Breakfast
Breakfast this coming Sunday, June 11, will be provided by guest chefs, Janice and Nelson Toebbe.

Please plan on joining everyone in Board Hall between 8:30am and 9:45 where you will not only enjoy great food but a time for fellowship.

No Wed. Eucharist on June 14
We will not hold our Wednesday Eucharist at 6pm on June 14th

Both Father Michael and Reverend Shelley, along with several parishioners, will be attending a Covenant Church event led by Anchorage Police Department to receive training on how to respond to an active shooter situation.  Though this is a very low probability scenario, it's important to be prepared, just in case the worst happens.

Midweek Eucharist will resume the following Wednesday, June 21st

Reflections is looking for singers & instrumentalists
Reflections, St. Luke's contemporary Christian Band is looking for both singers and instrumentalists to join us on Saturday nights at 5:30.

We are now in our 13 th year, and going strong!! Whether you enjoy singing in the shower or along with the radio, or whether you have that old bass or guitar in the closet, please consider joining us.

Send me an email ( [email protected]) or call me at 502-254-0090, and let me answer any questions you may have."  Jon Jacoby, Director

The Altar Guild
The Altar Guild is a ministry that works behind the scenes to prepare the altar for all our Sunday services, weddings and funerals.  We also wash and iron the altar linens. Currently we have four teams, and each team sets up one weekend a month.

We would love to have you join us.   If you are interested in learning more about our ministry, please contact Judy Pope, Pat Cline, Caroline Eddleman, Chris Wilcox, Cathy Meister or the church office.

CPR/AED Training
Anyone interested in learning CPR and operating our Automatic External Defibrillator ( AED ) should contact Walt Anderson at H-426-1597, C-558-1558 or email at [email protected] .

This is a one hour +/- class conducted by Anchorage Fire and Rescue and will be held in Board Hall.

The Lay Pastoral Care Ministry...
will meet Sunday, June 11th after the 10 AM service at Lake St. Joseph in Crestwood for their Spring Retreat.

A time of fellowship and lunch will be held followed by Jenny Branson, Music Therapist with the Robert Lerman Music Center at Norton Audubon Hospital. She will present a program about the influence music has in healthcare. We will then have our spiritual retreat time.

Please pray for the ministry as we continue our service to those in need.

St. Luke's Book Club
YOU ARE INVITED to St Luke's Book Club!

This month, we are reading "Killers of the Flower Moon" by David Grann. This is a twisting, haunting true-life murder mystery of the Osage murders and the birth of the FBI.

MEETING INFO: Lyman House, SECOND (2nd) Tuesday monthly at 6:30 PM for 2+- hours of rousing conversations and introductions to books of almost every genre.

Taize Service
Saturday, June 24, at 5:30 pm , St. Luke's will again offer the Taize candlelight service, including Communion.
Originated at the ecumenical community of reconciliation at Taize in Burgundy, France during the final years of World War 2, Taize meditation is an elegantly simple service that provides a time for reflection, centering and prayer via a context of song and word.
Mark your calendars now for June 24 at 5:30 pm. Be sure to bring your friends and family to share in this meaningful event!!!
