The Ag Economy Barometer measures the health of the U.S. agriculture economy with an index value based on a survey of agricultural producers on economic sentiment. Meet Dave Ragan, the Senior Appraiser based in the Effingham regional office. Dave was raised on a farm in Effingham County and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in agriculture economics. Dave joined the FCI appraisal team in 2012 after operating his own appraisal service for 20 years.
