"HATS OFF" TO THE CLASS OF 2017
The Class of 2017 Commencement Ceremony was held Saturday, and despite the pouring rain which took a break EXACTLY when we needed it to, it was a fantastic day. Our graduates "Passed Through the Gates" and are moving on.  We are confident they will be successful wherever life takes them...they have been well prepared! Wherever they go and whatever they do, they will always be Wildcats!  "Once A Wildcat, Always a Wildcat"

A WEEK OF MISSION AFFIRMATION
Sit through a St. Luke's Commencement Ceremony AND a 4th/5th Grade Honors Ceremony and you will have no doubt St. Luke's is preparing students for college and for life. Students receiving awards for academics, arts, athletics, community service and character demonstrate what an awesome job they are doing to excel and what a great job our faculty is doing to ensure they are successful!

SUMMER HOURS
Our summer hours for administrators and staff on both campuses this summer are 8:30 am until 2:30 pm Monday - Thursday.  Please feel free to stop by and visit or give us a call if we can be of assistance!

Campus Bookstore will be providing our textbook services again this year. They are located on Old Shell Road across from the USA Mitchell Center.  You may stop by their store to buy or sell textbooks at your convenience.  You may also sell or purchase textbooks online or from other individuals.  
 
PLEASE REMEMBER TO CHECK THE ISBN WHEN PURCHASING TEXTBOOKS.

LOWER SCHOOL SUMMER ASSIGNMENTS

Summer math and reading assignments for rising K5-5th graders have been posted to the website (Under Lower School Program).  Visit the website!

 

4TH QUARTER GRADES WILL BE EMAILED TO PARENTS ON FRIDAY, JUNE 2ND.

STUDENT AMBASSADORS and SPIRIT SHIRTS
Congratulations to our new 2017-2018 Student Ambassadors:   Taylor Smith,   Amelia Speir,  Becca Clark,  Madison Moseley,  Abbe Wentland, and Sidney Moorehead.  They join our returning Student Ambassadors: William Brandyburg, Hardy Demeranville
Hunter Doughty,  Graham Driskell,  Lincoln Hammons,  Bailey Sheffield,  Lauren Bailey
Bailey Fisher,  Alli Kangal,  Adrian Williams,  Anne Bennett Hammons and  Stefon Ward.  This summer they'll be busy planning activities for our students when they return as well as a 6th grade orientation and new student event. 

Look for information over the summer regarding the annual "Spirit Shirts" they sell...they are only available for a limited time and are a great way for everyone to show off  their Wildcat pride!   

 

K2 - 6TH GRADE CHEER UNIFORMS
Our Varsity Uniform rep will be on the Japonica Campus  June 6th and June 20th  to measure and take orders for girls in K2-6th grade that want a cheer uniform. The orders take 6-8 weeks for delivery and are custom ordered. Students will be allowed to wear their uniforms to school for every varsity football game and while cheering for YDL. The uniform is not required for YDL. 


YOUTH SUMMER SPORTS CAMPS

St. Luke's is proud to boast some of the best varsity coaches in the area: coaches who know their stuff and enjoy working with kids of all ages, coaches who understand the  important role that athletics play in a child's life,coaches who LOVE what they do and do it well!
  
Our youth summer sports camps are open to any child in rising grades 3-6.  


Our coaches emphasize  good sportsmanship and cooperative learning and are assisted by student athletes.  Camps, excluding Tennis Camp, are held on the Middle and Upper School Campus  at 1400 S. University Blvd. Camp times are 9:00 am until 12:00 pm unless otherwise noted. The cost of each camp is $75 per athlete. Registration is available online at www.YDLsports.net.


CAMP WILDCAT REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN
Registration is open for Camp Wildcat, a fun-filled day camp for children in rising grades PK3 - 6th. The  Junior Camp serves children ages 3 through 5 (rising K3, K4 and K5), and the Senior Camp serves rising 1st through 6th graders. Weekly themes provide exciting activities and enrichment classes include library, computer, science, Spanish, and art.   J unior campers enjoy on-site activities,  senior campers attend field trips and swim once a week. "Water Slide Wednesdays" are always a hit and everyone gets to participate! Camp Wildcat is open to anyone... spread the word to family, friends and co-workers!  REGISTRATION FORM AND DETAILED INFO may also be downloaded from the front page of the school's website.
