Principal's Message
Parents,
Thank you to all Murwood families for your support and participation this year. We have had a wonderful year filled with exciting academic challenges and great community building activities. Our hope is that you will keep learning over the summer by reading, writing in a journal, and solving some good, chewy math problems. Best wishes to our fifth graders as they head off to middle school. You are an incredible group and we know you will be successful.
Thanks to our incredible teachers and staff for going over and above every day to model collaborative learning and working tirelessly to do what is right for students every day.
Thanks, too, Danielle Scheg and to our PTA for all the wonderful community building activities. It is my hope that we can continue to build up our community and grow together in the coming year.

Reminder that the cafeteria will be serving Pizza Pak Lunch on Friday ONLY to those who submitted the lunch request form by Tuesday.
MINIMUM DAY on Friday, 6/9: TK/K 8:00am to 11:20am; 1st through 4th 8:15a to 11:45am; 5th Grade 8:15 through Promotion Ceremony and Reception.
Good luck to all of the 5th graders as they head to their next adventure in middle school! We'll see everyone else in August for Welcome Back Day on 8/17. Have a wonderful summer!!

From the PTA President
Thank you to Sabrina Jones and all who came out to volunteer on Monday for Track and Field Day, it was an amazing day. All of your time and efforts do not go unnoticed. The children had such a great time!!
As I close out my first year as President, I want to say it was such a GREAT year and I am thankful that I GOT TO serve on the Executive Board with so many amazing individuals. Mrs. Nenni, thank you for all of your support and extra time and efforts you have put in to make the school year amazing. Thank you to the 2016/2017 Executive Board for giving so much time and energy to ensure we would have the BEST year here at Murwood. To the incoming board, thank you for stepping out and volunteering. I know we will have a great year serving our school!!
I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to each and every person who came out to support the PTA not only in a volunteer role, but as a participant of our events. These events could not happen without the amazing support we have here at Murwood.
I wish you all a Happy, Safe and Relaxing Summer!

Keyspot Summer Camp
Camp
begins June 12 and ends August 18.
Camp Keyspot enrollees will spend their summer immersed in opportunities for cooperative learning with old friends and new. Weekly field trips, along with two swim days, are going to keep even the most active campers engaged and content.

Scholarship Recipients
We're pleased to announce the winners of this year's Michael W. De Sa Memorial Scholarship,
Nicole Baaba and William "Liam" McCormick. The $2,000 scholarships were presented to Nicole and Liam during the Las Lomas High School Senior Awards Night held on Tuesday, May 30. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors. To read more about it, check out our news section on our
