KVMR Summer of Love
In 1967 the phrase "Summer of Love" was created to refer to social phenomenon that drew nearly 100,000 young people to downtown San Francisco to
"turn on, tune in and drop out."
In celebration of the 50-year anniversary - KVMR is presenting its
"Summer of Love" festival on Saturday, July 8th from 5-10pm at Pioneer Park in Nevada City.
Four Bands will play live music and there will be booths to purchase munchies, drinks and groovy stuff. There will also be a "crash pad" to visit.
All are welcome - it is family friendly.
Admission is $10 and
flower children under 5 years are free.
