Join us June 17, 1 to 3, at Rahr Brewery as Charity of the Week! All are welcome. Food trucks and music make this a fun, family friendly afternoon (no pets, though).
A tour of the brewery and a Rahr & Sons pint glass are included for only $10, and, as always, the beer samples are free (only guests 21 years or older get to taste the beer).
We will also display the art from the art contest! Not only will our awesome judges, Erin Rahr, Tal Milan and J.R. Labbe choose the winning art, but those present will get a chance to place a vote for the People's Choice Award!
It's not too late to enter the art contest! If you don't have artistic talent yourself, please share the link to the entry form with your artsy friends.

Help us plan a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) activity to do with kids!
Calling all students, teachers, engineers, etc. We need someone to create a fun, brief experiment kids can do at the Alliance Air Show October 28-29.
Water? Sink or float? Speed? Shallow vs. Deep?

Ummm... USS Freedom has over 12,000 Facebook followers, and the USS Fort Worth doesn't even have 10,000 on Facebook. While we love the crew serving on the Freedom, we can't let another LCS have more likes than the mighty USS Fort Worth!
Huge THANK YOU to the Rotary Club of Fort Worth for sending the last care package to the USS Fort Worth. They collected cookies, beef jerky, other snacks, sun screen, chapstick and awesome Fort Worth keepsakes (check out the red bandanas some of the crew are wearing). They also created and got t-shirts for each crew member combining the crew's logo with the Rotary wheel.
The USS Fort Worth has officially gone into dry dock, and the crew is as busy as ever. They continue to amaze us with their service. Thank you to this senior chief for continuing your service to the Navy!
