Summer is the perfect time to bring yellows into your home. This sunny hue warms up your home, making it feel joyful. With its versatile range, you can choose from bold and bright or soft and gentle.
 
Add yellow to your living spaces with upholstery and drapery fabrics, paint, and wallpaper. Thibaut's Imperial Dragon and Palm Island are among my personal favorite wallcoverings to incorporate shades of yellow.

Yellow can be a neutral background color in pale, light and airy shades. Pair it with Benjamin Moore Kensington Blue 840 or Revere Pewter HC-172. Farrow & Ball Mole's Breath No. 276 and French Gray No. 18 also partner nicely with yellow.
 
Bedding, tableware, slipcovers, pillows, and table linens are smaller accent items to consider. A vase of sunflowers or a bowl of lemons are a nice finishing touch.

Add interest to your home design with lattice.


Don't go off the grid! Get on the grid with lattice patterns in your home décor. Lattice is commonly used outdoors for fences and window boxes, but you can bring it indoors too.
 
The look of lattice can be subtle, with a tone-on-tone, one-color scheme, or bold with two or more colors in the pattern. Often lattices are straight-line crossed patterns, but they can also bend into curved shapes.
 
These popular lattice patterns are found in drapery and upholstery fabrics, rugs, and wallpaper. Floors and tile can be set in a lattice pattern too.
