First Wednesday Concert - June 7

Our First Wednesday Concert Season Finale

in the Nave at St. John's Church.
Classical trumpeter Mary Bowden
joins the United States Air Force Strings performing Bach's
Brandenburg Concerto No. 2.
Hailed as "brilliant" by Gramophone Magazine,
Bowden has just released her debut album
"Radiance"
to rave reviews.

Latrobe First Wednesday - June 7

We're taking the Latrobe Fellowship to the streets! Following our service of Holy Eucharist at 7 pm, we will send you out in teams with clues to search for landmarks in the area surrounding St. John's Church. We'll conclude the evening with a celebratory dinner to close out the year and announce the winners of the scavenger hunt. P

Singers (whether experienced or not-so-experienced!) are invited to sing in the choir on Sunday mornings at St. John's, from
June 11 through Labor Day weekend. Members of both the St. John's and Parish Choirs will be on hand to lend their voices as well, and you may sing for one or all Sundays.
The rehearsal begins at 9:30 a.m. sharp each Sunday morning in the Nave, to prepare for the 10:30 a.m. service.

Pride Parade on Saturday, June 10, starting at
4:30 p.m.
The Parade is sponsored by the Capital Pride Alliance to
celebrate and support the diverse LGBT communities and
friends. The parade will start at the intersection of 22nd & P streets, NW, and will follow a route through the Dupont and Logan Circle neighborhoods.
