This report investigates the impact of immigration, language, and racialized identity on social determinants of health outcomes (e.g. income, education, employment, sense of belonging to local community, and health care access) as well as self-reported health and mental health across ethnically and linguistically diverse senior populations in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Although the report focuses on seniors in the GTA, it may provide background to understand the experiences of immigrant and refugee seniors living in Edmonton.

The City of Edmonton is hosting public engagement sessions about the Recreation Facility Master Plan. The feedback will be used to shape the City's approach to recreation facilities and services for the next 20 years.
