Good Neighbor Program -- Volunteer Drivers Needed
Temple Sinai's Good Neighbor Program continues to help Abdul and Zeya Gul and their family settle in the US. The program is in need of volunteers especially drivers to help  transport them to appointments, errands, etc. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact either of the Good Neighbor co-chairs, Andrea Dettelbach  or Catherine Ribnick.

Adult B'nai Mitzvah Service & Kiddush Luncheon

Following two years of study and dedication, each member of the class will lead us in prayer and be called to the Torah as a Bar or Bat Mitzvah at this festive Shabbat service. Cantors Croen and Robins are joined by four talented colleagues and a wonderful ensemble of musicians to present this captivating and witty revue, featuring original music by Broadway's finest composers and lyricists. Based on the best-selling book by Abigail Pogrebin, the show highlights thirteen prominent Jewish Americans, including Edgar Bronfman, Aaron Sorkin, and Tony Kushner, telling their own personal stories about being Jewish.

Sela Public Charter School Open House

Interested in exploring alternative schooling options in Washington, DC? Sela Public Charter School is a non-religious Hebrew language immersion public charter school founded on five pillars: academic excellence, diversity, language immersion, innovation and 21st Century Skills.There is also a robust STEM program, one to one iPads for students, and small class sizes. For the fall of 2017, Sela is enrolling new students in PK-3 through 2nd grade (grades 3 and 4 are closed to non-Hebrew speaking students). Research Orientations at the Library of Congress
The Library of Congress is offering Saturday research orientations this spring and teaching how to research in different areas and reading rooms of the Library of Congress. Online registration for research orientations is available via Eventbrite by clicking on the desired date below. The research orientations are designed to introduce researchers, at all levels, to the collections and resources of the Library of Congress. The reference librarian instructors discuss techniques to make the most effective and efficient use of the Library of Congress.
