Nancy Strong's 90th Birthday Party

Saturday, June 10

Nancy Strong is turning 90! Please join us as we celebrate her birthday with family and friends. The party will be in Parish Hall on Saturday, June 10 from 3 - 5 pm. We will be celebrating with "English High Tea". No presents please; just come and celebrate!

Holy Communion Instruction

Sunday, June 11

All the baptized are always welcome to receive the Holy Food and Drink, including infants! But many children want to learn more about the Sacrament. On Sunday, June 11 at 9:15 AM, Mother Susan will meet in the Chapel with any children who want to learn more about Holy Communion. All children are welcome, whether they have received Holy Communion before and wish to learn more about it, or if they have yet to receive Holy Communion. Please email Lynn Mitchell to let us know if you would like to participate.

Ladies' Luncheon

Thursday, June 15

All are welcome to join the Ladies' Luncheon on Thursday, June 15th at noon at the home of Jane McKnight, 257 Douglas Road, Far Hills. Please bring a sandwich; beverages and dessert will be provided. We hope to see you there. RSVP to Jane at 908-647-6371.

Teacher/Leader and Student Recognition

Sunday, June 18

Following the 10:00 am service, all children will have the opportunity to receive a collectable pin to commemorate completing another year of Sunday School. Also, the teachers and leaders will be acknowledged for all that they do to make St. John such a wonderful place for kids!

Summer Choir

Join our Summer Intergenerational Pickup Choir at SJOTM! Beginning June 25th and continuing through Labor Day weekend, all people of the parish - kids and adults! - are invited to help lead worship this summer by singing in the choir. Meet at 8:45 am in the Choir Room to learn a simple anthem and hymns for the day. Come once, or often. All are welcome!

Adult Volunteers Needed for VBS

June 26-30

Adult volunteers are needed for camp "Hero Central: Discover Your Strength in God" at SJOTM from June 26th - 30th from 9:15 am - 12:15 pm. For more information or to help, please email Lynn Mitchell

Tend the Giving Garden

Help us tend the Giving Garden at Ross Farms in Basking Ridge this summer. SJOTM is rotating garden responsibilities with our friends at St. Mark's and St Bernard's. Each church will take the lead on alternating weeks. Weeks begin on Saturday mornings and end on the following Friday night. Responsibilities are primarily harvesting and weeding beds.
