The annual Chamber Golf Classic is a business community event that mixes business with pleasure. Many members use this opportunity to strengthen relationships and conduct business with clients and business associates. Sponsors use this as an outdoor business expo by taking advantage of the interactive sponsorship opportunities.
All golfers, sponsors and volunteers are invited to the awards dinner immediately following the end of play. Comcast Business is the title sponsor and Indiana American Water and Salin Bank are eagle sponsors. There's still room for teams and hole sponsors.
The Greater Kokomo Visitor Bureau connected with the writer while attending the Indiana Media Marketplace in Indianapolis, where Alliance staff promoted the many tourism opportunities here in Kokomo.
It just doesn't feel like summer until you've had a shortcake piled high with strawberries, ice cream and whip cream in downtown Kokomo.

Sponsored by
First Farmers Bank & Trust, the event will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The 2017 festival will again be held in conjunction with First Friday events in the evening.
The event would not be possible with the hard work of a dedicated committee and volunteers. But more volunteers are needed to make the event a success.
