Dear Families,

Jewish Community of Amherst Youth and Family Education is pleased to announce it has received a generous gift from the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. These funds will support Camp Shemesh individual camper fees at a rate of $50 per camper per session.

We hope this gift will allow Camp Shemesh to be even more affordable for our campers and their families, supporting their engagement with Jewish life and learning over the summer months.

If you have not yet registered for camp, and you would like to take advantage of this exciting gift, there are still spots available. Click HERE to register. These funds will be applied immediately to your balance upon registering.

"I am thrilled that the Harold Grinspoon Foundation has chosen to support the important work that Camp Shemesh does to provide a fun, safe and engaging environment for Jewish youth during the summer."
-Keren Rhodes, JCA Director of Youth and Family Education

Harold Grinspoon Foundation provides support for families and teens, arts and culture events, and projects that connect people to Jewish life in Western Massachusetts (Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, and Hampshire counties) and Southern Vermont (Bennington and Windham counties).

Camp Shemesh is a program of the Jewish Community of Amherst (JCA). Through a framework of Jewish themes and values, we provide space for youth to explore their authentic selves while learning to be empathic and environmentally sensitive people and leaders.

Wishing you a wonderful summer,
