Cheyenne's Story
"My name is Cheyenne. I'm 16 years old.

Before I came to Florence Crittenton, I was confused, sad and unable to process my past trauma. I also wasn't able to accept what happened to me or grieve.

I didn't think I had issues and it was everyone else around me.

It wasn't until the staff at Florence Crittenton helped me realize the resources available for us. They help not only me but the other girls on campus and show us we can do it ourselves too.

Now, I am able to make better decisions and respect others. I am learning how to take responsibility of my own actions and actively participate in making myself better. I am also learning how to be more positive toward my peers."

The 3rd Annual Transformation, Love, Connection Dance
On Saturday, May 20th, guests were treated to a "Dancing with the Stars" themed evening with performances by girls residing in the agency's Therapeutic Group Home. Florence Crittenton partnered with EuroRhythm Dance Studios for its 3rd Annual Transformation, Love, Connection (TLC) Dance. Each girl was paired with a professional dance instructor where they spent six weeks together learning different dance styles and creating a choreographed performance.

In its third year, the TLC Dance raised more than $27,000 to support Florence Crittenton's core programs, such as its Therapeutic Group Home, Girls Ranch, Permanent Supportive Housing and the Girls Leadership Academy of Arizona.
