Principal Notes

Dear Parents,

This Friday is our Grandparents and Special Friends Day.  It is wonderful to have so many guests on campus and I love how proud our students are to show off their school.  If you are parking on that day, please park at PCC so that we can have our on-campus parking spaces for our guests.  After the May Crowning we will have a bake sale and then students will take their guests into the classroom.  The day ends at 11:30 so that students can go to lunch with their special person.  Please send a note to the teacher if your child will be leaving with anyone other than you.  This way we can make sure all students are safely accounted for.

Parents of students in grades four and above should check the portals for their child's progress report. Here are instructions for how to do this: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kJcBAbpWXwKqVKY7LDVfSmRrZ1s76Nl8uo_Zl-goPHM/edit?usp=sharing

Reports for grades K-3 are in the blue folders. Please contact the teacher if you have questions. Remember; the progress report is not a permanent record but is a mid-trimester check in.  Now is the time to address concerns.

Have a beautiful week,
Jennifer

Tuition payments begin in August. All school accounts, including fines, are to be closed by May 31. Re- Registration of students for the following year may be jeopardized when accounts are not closed on that date. Eighth grade students will not be allowed to participate in graduation activities or ceremonies if tuition and fees are not fully paid by May 15th, hence, no diploma will be awarded.
The payments are due the 1st of each month (August to May.) All payments received after the 10th are subject to a $50 late fee.
Checks returned due to insufficient funds will result in a $25 service charge.  For the remainder of the year these families can only pay tuition and fees by certified check or money order.

SPRING CONCERT
K-7 Parents:
As you know the Spring Concert this year, on Friday, May 19 will be "Songs of Peace, Love, and Hope." In keeping with this theme, students are asked to wear shirts or blouses in the calm colors of blue, green, or purple. These can be prints or solids, and in combination. T-shirts are fine as long as they are solid colors without graphics (Michael's is a good source for a solid t-shirt).

8TH GRADE PARENTS:
8 grade girls will wear a black dress and boys will wear nice slacks and a dress shirt.
K to 7th grade will  wear blue jeans - long, short, capri, or skirts. No short-shorts, in keeping with school rules. Boys may substitute navy blue school pants, long or short.
Shoes need to be safe on the risers. Athletic shoes are fine, and no slip-ons please.
If your student(s) will be unable to attend, please let me know as soon as possible. It really does help to know well in advance.
Just send an email to
ghoman@stphiliptheapostle.org.
