Creativity Fair
Coming in July
Sunday, Mid-July (Date TBD)
12:00 to 1:30 pm

Immediately following Sunday gathering in mid-July, Common Ground is delighted to host a Creativity Fair designed to share and showcase the various 'creative' talents of the community and its friends.

So what are creative talents?

Pretty much anything that is the source of joy, pleasure, or a sense of accomplishment qualifies.

  • Summer produce from a lovingly tended garden
  • Textiles, such as quilts, sewing projects, knitting, crocheting, fabric art

  • Beading and jewelry
  • Collages, found object art, sculptures, ceramics, mosaics
  • Succulent gardens, floral arrangements, potted plants
  • Artwork, oils, pastels, watercolors, mixed media
  • Paper artwork, banners, posters, cards
  • Writings, poetry, verse
  • Baked items, special dishes with recipes
As you can see, if it fills your soul it represents creative energy.

Please consider showcasing your creativity.  Everyone is welcome and included.

If you intend to offer your items for sale during the fair, please remember to tithe 10% to Common Ground.

More details to follow soon.

The Power of Enough

Join us on Sundays in June as we take a look at how we may have a chronic sense of inadequacy, lack and dissatisfaction about life; ways this becomes the lens through which we experience life.

The mantra of not enough can become a kind of default setting for our thinking about everything.

We will learn ways to step into the power of enough, to cultivate the capacity to actually trust that  we are enough, that we do enough, and that there is enough to go around.

There really is enough.

In the words of Eric Butterworth: '.....there is an Allness ...an All-Sufficiency within every appearance of lack.  .....The whole of  the Universe/God is present at every point in space at the same time.  ...God doesn't come and go.  God is always present, totally present ~ as a presence.  ...It could be said that when you realize your relationship to the dynamic Universe, you are forever in a field (of enough)."

"Do what you can with what you have right where you are."
Theodore Roosevelt

Please join us. Everyone is welcome, invited and included.

Come as you are.  As you are is perfect.
