How do we reverse the most negative trends facing young people today? One way is by recognizing the importance of out-of-school time. The out-of-school environment-after school and summer-plays an essential, yet often over-looked, role in transforming kids' lives and America's future.
What happens during the hours between school and home can have a dramatic impact on a child's future, especially in the areas of education, health and character development. By providing access to positive, productive programs and caring adult mentors after school and during summer, Boys & Girls Clubs of North Georgia can help change the future for our youth, our community and our country.
Please consider sponsoring a child that attends your local Boys & Girls Club. With Clubs in Pickens, Gilmer and Fannin Counties, we are serving hundreds of young people who need us the most.
$1200, or $100 monthly, will help open the door to a great future for a young person in your community! You can sponsor more than one child! Partial scholarships help too! Ask a friend, family member or colleague to help you sponsor one or more children. We're growing and need your help.
Sponsor a child for one full year
@ $1,200 each child
1/2 year of programming @ $600
3 months of school year or summer enrichment program @ $300
$200 will provide resource materials and supplies for 5 youth for 1 year
$100 will provide snacks for 3 youth for 1 year
$50 will sponsor 1 youth to participate in our homework Club for 3 months.
