A Timely Youth Engagement Resource
 
Given the recent conversations Region 4 centers have had about youth programming, this resource couldn't be more timely! It was featured this month on parentcenterhub.org. Did you catch it? It's an infographic from AMP. AMP stands for Achieve My Plan and is a project at the Research and Training Center on Family Support and Children's Mental Health, Portland State University, Portland, Oregon.
 
This particular resource provides real world examples for talking to and engaging youth. It includes examples of what to say and what not to say. Taking the time to review this short, 4-pager will provide you with practical knowledge concerning how youth wish to be engaged in projects, training, goal setting and problem solving.
